I believe all students are capable of learning. My job is to find effective teaching techniques which will make my goal achievable. As a science teacher, I value the concept of guided inquiry. I want to promote learning through the means of student investigation. It is my belief students learn from hands-on activities, real-world applications, and exploration. These type of techniques target higher level thinking skills and science process skills. I want my students to be capable of transferring science concepts learned in class to a wide range of situations and real world scenarios.
